Carbontex is an advanced research and production enterprise of Russia in the field of design and manufacturing of volumetrically reinforced full-woven preforms by 3D-weaving technology of carbon/glass fiber, which are used for production of polymer composite materials in aircraft engineering, aerospace, petrochemistry, medicine and construction. All these products have an undeniable advantage over their traditional counterparts, namely, high strength in transversal (vertical) direction and reliability under shock loads. Using 3D weaving technology it is possible to produce preforms of different density and combination of materials. In addition, this technology can reduce the cost of the product due to the automation of the process, as the production of the material is carried out on specialized weaving complexes of its own design, filled with different types of fibers and working in a unified technological cycle.
