Rosatom State Corporation’s Division for Composites is Russia’s leader in the production of PAN precursor, carbon and glass fibre, fabrics, prepregs and finished products based on them. It unites an R&D centre and industrial facilities where a complete production chain from oil refinery products to finished goods has been set up. The Division comprises 29 companies, including 15 plants in 16 Russian regions.

Rusatom Steklovolokno JSC is the leading manufacturer of continuous glass fibre on the Russian market. The plant produces single-end glass rovings, chopped yarns and glass fibre fabrics for technical and other applications.

NIIGrafit Research Institute (part of Rosatom State Corporation) is a powerhouse behind the growth of the Chemical Technology Unit at Science and Innovations JSC. Scientific research results of the Institute have been implemented at electrode plants of the country and in-house production facilities. They are used in nuclear engineering and other industries.
