OJSC “SvetlogorskKhimvolokno” is one of the largest diversified enterprises of petrochemical complex of the Republic of Belarus. OJSC “SvetlogorskKhimvolokno” offers the following range of products: carbon fibers, heat-resistant materials “Arselon”, nonwoven polypropylene materials, polyester textile yarns.
     Carbon fiber is treated with 2200ºC and withstands 3600ºC in vacuum. Rayon carbon fiber is being used in many special applications related with fiber unique properties: heat resistance and low heat conduction, stable mechanical properties from low to very high temperature range, high sorption capacity, electrical conductivity, biocompatibility, chemical resistance, electromagnetic interference shielding.
     Arselon is poly-oxa-diazole (POD) fiber, possesses specific features for high temperature application. Arselon withstands 250ºC temperature for long-term using. Oxygen index is 30% minimum. Arselon range include: filament yarn, staple fiber, technical fabric, spun fabric, nonwoven felt, milled fiber.
